Skanska is one of the largest companies in the world providing services in the field of construction and project development.

Behind its foundation in 1887 was the Swedish company AB Skanska Cementgjuteriet manufacturing concrete decorative elements, which over the course of its existence gradually transformed into an international company focussing on the provision of overall construction services. The name Skanska has been used since 1984. We established our first international operations already in 1897.

We are a Fortune 500 company and a member of the UN Global Compact. Skanska is one of the world's ten largest construction companies.

Today 53,000 employees are active in selected home markets in Europe, the US and Latin America.

Skanska is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm.
